Education Committee
Education Committee Mission Statment The Clermont County Tea Party is a grassroots movement of conservative citizens who are working to restore America to the nation envisioned by the founding fathers and as established in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Further, it is our goal to preserve Liberty for future generations. Consistent with natural law and the inalienable rights endowed to all men by God, we embrace the three core values of, Limited Constitutional Government Fiscal Responsibility Free Markets These values can be held by conservatives of both political parties. Thereby, these values can serve to unify the American people. We endeavor to organize like-minded citizens and to inform others about these core values. Ultimately, it is our goal to promote public policy and political candidates that embrace these values. America’s founders recognized that an informed and educated citizenry is essential to the preservation of Liberty. James Madison said, “The diffusion of knowledge is the only true guardian of Liberty.” Such knowledge helps establish ”who we are as a people,” and it reminds us why America is both exceptional and worth fighting for. The principles and values that under gird the unique structure of the American republic are not self-sustaining. Each generation must affirm that knowledge and pass it on to the next. Toward that end, we have established an Education Committee, whose purpose is to develop and implement a strategy to: Educate Tea Party members in the principles of Liberty and in the application of those principles. Equip Tea Party members with the tools to communicate those principles to others. Work to convey principles of Liberty to the next generation. Help to better inform Tea Party members about the political process.
