It gives the Tea Party members (disgruntled R's and D's and I's) sound argument for the strategy of siding with the Republicans this election cycle, with the understanding that the strategy will be different in future elections. Winning the gavel in the House and veto power in the Senate would inject a healthy dose of balance to the progressive trend in the Executive Branch and progressive Judiciary.
It may inspire members to help Precinct Leaders walk their precincts, help Get Out the Vote, work campaigns and financially support candidates. Getting voters out is the only way to shut down progressives.
